HEARTCODE BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
A skills session is the hands-on portion of an AHA eLearning course. It is conducted in-person after a student completes Part 1 online. Proof of online course completion is required prior to skills test.

This course is for health care providers and those seeking renewal. Your certification cannot be expired.

HEARTCODE ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS)
A skills session is the hands-on portion of an AHA e-learning course. It is conducted in-person after a student completes Part 1 online. Proof of the online course completion is required prior to skills test.
ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT UPDATE (ACLS)
The ACLS course builds upon the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. ACLS also covers airway management and related pharmacology. Topics of learning include: management of airway control and ventilation, dysrhythmia recognition, cardiac monitoring, synchronized cardioversion, defibrillation, pharmacology for cardiac care, management of acute MI and stroke, and management of bradycardia and tachycardia patients.
This course is for professional providers: RN, MD, DO, PA, NP, Paramedics, & Respiratory Therapist. You can register for this renewal course only if your card is still valid. HEARTSAVER FIRST AID, CPR, AND AED
Who can take this course?
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone who may need a course completion card for their job, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency.
What will I learn in the course?
- First aid basics- including hands on: splinting, use of EpiPen, and bandaging a wound.
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and AED use
- Choking emergencies
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
How long is the course?
The course is taught once a month and is about 5 ½ hours in length. The course book is included as well as your certification card.
