Prospective students interested in admission will perform the following procedure:

1. Complete the online application and submit the application fee. All required documents must be received for your application to be reviewed.

2. Attend a mandatory online information session. You can sign up under the information tab. This is required for full acceptance into any program.

3. For those interested in seeking admission into the Practical Nursing program, you must schedule to take the NLN Nursing Entrance Exam (NLN) online via Proctor360. You will need to schedule your exam 2 days in advance. The exam covers: Verbal, Math, and Science. You will be given 3 hours to complete the exam. More information can be obtained at www.nlntest.org. Passing the NLN exam does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

For those interested in seeking admission into the Home Health Aide program, you must request to take the Basic Skills Test.

For nurses interested in taking the IV Therapy course, there is no entrance exam.

4. Once you have achieved a passing score on the admissions exam, you will be invited for an interview.

5. After your admissions interview you will receive written notification of acceptance within 72 hours, via email.

6. After acceptance the student must return the letter of intent within 3 days. You will then be scheduled for a finance appointment.

7. At your appointment an enrollment agreement will be completed. The enrollment agreement contains the details of the student’s enrollment, including: the program of study, start and end dates, tuition and fees, refund policy, and other pertinent information. Consents will be obtained, and the student will pay the seat deposit.

8. Attend mandatory program orientation prior to the start of class.
